This little book answered all my questions about how those wonderful books are made.  The first portion gives you all the whys and wherefores of what you need to do and where to start.

I had no idea that there was so much painting involved in these books or the different textures and looks that can be achieved with different papers.

There are only 48 pages in this book, but each one of them has at least two or more color photos for instructions and inspiration.  Even if you never want to do an Altered Book, you will love looking at all the pictures of what other artists have created.  The gallery is wonderful.
