C & T Publishing distributes the products to get you started making altered books. The name they use is Create & Treasure.  I was allowed to try a couple of the “Ready-to-go Bland Board Books” and also the “Paper Crafter’s Color Companion.” 

The blank board was a wonderful head start for me when I tried some of the altered book techniques.  With the book already made from heavy cardboard, I didn’t have to worry about how heavy my “decorations” might get.  It was really nice having it all bound and ready for the fun stuff!

The Paper Crafter’s Color Companion was nice, but if you have any color sense at all, it really wouldn’t be necessary. If you are in doubt about how some papers/colors go together, then this would be a good tool for you.  I will probably use it, but not that often.
