Each chapter covers a different area of bead stringing and has a color page of items made using the techniques. Simple techniques adding leather and cord are described and then there are beading techniques included. I was quite surprised as beading is not thought of as bead stringing by most of us beaders. Basic daisy chains, brick stitch earrings, dangles and peyote stitch are illustrated. I am pleased to see these basic techniques included. Bead stringers may never have purchased a beading book, but with this bead stringing book they are introduced to beading and the possibilities of combining a few techniques in with their bead stringing. This is a good little book for beginners to bead stringing and as a teaching tool for instructors. |
