Family Circle Easy Baby Knits
If you enjoy knitting baby clothing and toys, you will find plenty of choices here. There are hats, sweaters, jumpers, blankets, socks, booties, and a tote bag for baby needs. Several of the children patterns incorporate motifs for little cars, lace, flowers, hearts and gobs of critters such as fish, elephants, sheep and teddy bears.
If you are a toy enthusiast, there are rabbits, elephants, cats, pigs, sheep horses, dinosaurs and even people to choose from. I enjoy creating miniature and small creatures with beads and fibers. Toy patterns are great for down sizing and adaptation to create my own one of a kind miniatures. Betsy Brachiosaurus is a three dimensional critter composed of several pattern pieces. Although it is supposed to be 18” in height, it can easily be made with thin thread and small steel needles to create a miniature.
Instructions, illustrations, terms and abbreviations are at the back of the book. You should already know basic knitting and crochet to work all the projects in this book. You will find the patterns precious, adorable and great for those photo-moments.
